20 years! What an achievement for an organization that started out with a small group of dedicated persons who wanted to provide support to low-income families, while at the same time promoting and persevering Jamaica’s cultural heritage.
Join us in celebrating this remarkable milestone for our organization. We have planned activities that will help us share our mission of helping those among us who need our help.
First up is our Annual FREE Health Fair, which will be hosted in conjunction with the T. Leroy Jefferson Medical Society on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 9a.m. to 2p.m.
We are seeking sponsorship for the Annual Health Fair. Contact us for sponsorship information.
After the Annual Health Fair in July, we will host our Annual Independence Ball. The Independence Ball is held in celebration of and to recognize Jamaica’s Independence. Jamaica’s Independence date: August 6, 1962.
The Independence Ball will be held on August 6, 2011 starting at 8p.m. at the Palm Beach Convention Center. Tickets are available for $65.
Special Guest Speaker will be the Minister of Tourism for Jamaica, Honourable Edmund Bartlett.
Contact us to purchase your tickets or to be one our sponsors for the event.
After the dining, dancing and reminiscing, join us at our Service of Thanksgiving on Sunday August 7, 2011 at Grace Episcopal Church @ 10 a.m., 3600 N. Australian Ave, WPB, FL 33407, in recognition of Jamaica’s Independence.
This year as apart of our Independence Day activities we are hosting a walk in support of Domestic Violence Awareness. Our communities here in the States and in Jamaica are feeling, hearing, and experiencing the effects of domestic violence.
Join us in support of the survivors of Domestic Violence and to bring awareness to the issue of Domestic Violence. Our walk will be held at Gaines Park, on August 13, 2011 from 8a.m.-12 noon.
We appreciate your support and look forward to your continued support. Like us on Facebook!
